Did you know?

The University of Tennessee Hockey Team has a Hall of Fame. And guess what people? My boyfriend is in it! Nominated by their Ice Vol peers and alumni, Jon and two others were inducted in a ceremony that was held before the Ice Vols game, joining only 18 others.

Patiently waiting for the ceremony to start...

 ...at 10:45 p.m.

I thought it was nice of the Vols to stand on the ice and watch their alumni, although I'm sure they had no choice. Still, good for pictures : )

Knoxville: Round Two!

Well, I went back to Knoxville this weekend, but this time I went back to college too. My college roommates Alix and Margaret flew all the way from the West Coast.
I'll let the pictures tell the story....(with a few captions to help)

Alix and I drove from Nashville and I had to go straight to my favorite pizza place.
  Stephanos. Wheat crust.

The first of many pictures we took of ourselves :)
While Margaret attended a wedding Saturday, Alix and I had some lunch before going to the Game!
Pride of the Southland Marching Band

My favorite part of any UT game. Running through the "T"

Our first and only touch down of the game...
 Orange Pants Pic!
Cool Beans!
We had to wait in line (ugh!) so we decided they should change the name to just Beans. It became Cool again once we got inside.

I never would have made it through college with out these two!

We're not in college anymore...

How quickly things change.  After graduation we made the drive to Knoxville almost every weekend for the football games.  Now 3 years later (sigh) we are happy to make it to one.  And we love to take pictures to prove it!

We started our weekend at Jon's Alumni Hockey game

The Rock has a new home across the street.

Still early in the day, enjoying our tailgate!

Tickets were going for $75, so we watched the game at our favorite bar, Cool Beans!
We ended our night at Penn Station Subs, they give Jimmy Johns a run for their money! This picture pretty much sums it up . Although we can't party like we used to (and UT lost) we made it through with a smile on our face! Go Vols!
